Whenever possible, we show total prices, inclusive of all airport taxes and any additional charges. Prices are in £ sterling, based on 2 sharing.

Prices above are based on double occupancy. Accommodation only. For 3 sharing, take the 14 night rate and divide by number of people to get the price per person per week. For euro prices, contact us. Accommodation only available for 7 nights or more.

Sleep up to 3 with 1 bedroom

Double bedroom with large hanging cupboard. In the store cupboard are folding beds which can be put up in the sitting room over night. These would be suitable for children.

Next to the bedroom. It is large, tiled, with a shower.

Gas hob with two rings, fridge. Breakfast bar.

Dining/living

There's seating for four at a table in the open plan reception room. Outdoors is a table which seats four. There are two sofas and a low coffee table, and side board.

General

Sheets and towels are provided. There is a maid service every three days when the sheets and towels are changed. Bring your own beach towels.

Changeover days

Any day of the week. Rentals run from mid day to mid day.

Comments

The apartments to rent are furnished from Portugal, and there is lots of varnished wood, which is the Cape Verdean style, which we find appealing. If you want somewhere to stay to make your base in Santa Maria, you are well positioned here for the beach, and also restaurants and shops. There is a reception and the owners live close by.

Things to do in Sal

Windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, game fishing, surfing, diving within 10 minutes. Visit the Old Salt mines at Pedro de Luma. Take a 4x4 out for a day and discover even more remote beaches. Flag down an aluguier (minibus) and go to Espargos or Murdeira - get a taste of the local charm and music. Day trips to other islands by plane or by boat. More information on the Cape Verdes.
